The big freeze halts Numbers' run
Prime's winning run was quite literally put on ice as the arctic conditions put paid to their hopes of a ninth straight win at Brenchley.
With temperatures plunging to well below freezing, it was no great surprise that the game was called off by Brenchley at around 10am.
Staplehurst's game with Woodlands Reserves also fell foul of the weather but elsewhere there was a first win for Frant, a 4th straight win for the improving East Peckham Juniors Reserves and a good home win for Rusthall IV over surprise strugglers FC Revolution.
In the Chairman's Cup, league leaders AFC Valour Reserves exacted revenge on Tonbridge Invicta III after their reverse in the league with a 4-2 success - ex-Prime player Barney Mellors netted twice.
In the only other Quarter-Final to survive the conditions, Roselands Reserves put up a brave fight against Rusthall III of Division 1 - before going down to a 3-2 defeat.
This result shows that despite Prime's 10-1 success over Roselands last month, this weekend's trip to Tonbridge will be a stern test - however with more freezing temperatures and potential snow forecast, it seems unlikely that the game will take place.
