Prime Hit For Six
South Tonbridge 6-2 Ashton Prime
Prime's revival ended abruptly with a 6-2 defeat at Tonbridge.
Of last week's winning line-up, only 6 players were available and the defensive re-shuffle affected Prime badly.
Goldsmith and Flamank moved to centre-back and they were kept busy in a frantic opening, as Tonbridge made the most of the slope and wind advantage.
Buckland and Leaver completed the back four, and they worked hard to keep Prime in it early on.
However, after half an hour Leigh was at fault as the home side's striker netted at the near post.
A second goal followed shortly after from a corner - with Leigh again beaten at his near post.
Prime were handed a lifeline just before the break when a scuffed clearance by the Tonbridge keeper allowed Smith-Foreman the chance to slot home for 2-1.
The first 5 mins of the second half would be crucial, but Prime fell further behind in this period.
A horror-show from Goldsmith soon followed with the centre-back's air-kick resulting in a handball which was spotted by the ref who gave the penalty - from which the South Tonbridge skipper made no mistake.
Some brave Prime pressure resulted in Matthews converting Smith-Foreman's corner, but 2 further goals for the home side rounded off a comforable win.
Prime Man of the Match: Matt Leaver - Battled tirelessly at full-back.
