Prime late-show stuns Rustics
Rusthall IV 1-4 Ashton Prime
Following last week's disappointment at Roselands, Prime travelled to old foes Rusthall looking to pick up points at a windswept and rainy Southwood Road.
Skovborg-Hansen returned in goal with Kneebone and Goldsmith also returning to the starting line-up.
The home side were assisted by the slope and the wind in the first period and were clearly on top - but Prime stayed in the game with Gilbert and Jamie Barker repelling wave after wave of Rusthall attacks and when they were beaten, Skovborg-Hansen made some excellent saves in treachourous conditions.
After 20 minutes, Rusthall broke through as a loose ball fell to their central-midfielder who smashed a rising wind-assisted 30 yarder into the top corner, with Skovborg-Hansen given no chance.
Prime began to get into the game and Kneebone and Carl Barker linked up well down the right before finding Goldsmith, who stabbed goalwards under pressure and saw his effort agonisingly hit the post before being cleared to safety.
Goldsmith's long throws were also starting to trouble Rusthall and from one such throw, Ellis hit a half-chance over.
Prime were pleased to go in just 1-0 down and started the second period in the ascendancy.
They forced a succession of corners and Barker had a shot blocked and Mazurkiewicz fired wide as Rusthall struggled to clear their lines.
Then, in a moment of madness, the hosts were reduced to 10 men as Carl Barker forced a corner and the Rusthall defender vented his frustration at the referee and was given a red-card.
Goldsmith was hampered by a groin strain which he picked up in stabbing goalwards in the first half, and he gave way to Goulding, with Kneebone pushed forward to utilise his explosive pace.
The move paid dividends with 25 minutes to go, as Goulding with his first touch headed home a Mellors corner at the far post.
Prime were now rampant and 5 minutes later, Mellors burst through and beat the keeper to put Prime ahead.
Garside replaced the excellent Matthews for the last 15, and Prime continued to dominate and they made it 3-1 when the prolific Carl Barker beat the advancing keeper.
Sturmey immediately replaced the hard-working striker and there was still time for Goulding to square for Kneebone to make it 4-1 in the closing seconds.
