Roselands no-show hands Prime the points

Ashton Prime won by walkover as Roselands Reserves had no team

Prime were informed on the morning of the match that their Tonbridge-based opponents could not raise a team and therefore Prime took the points without kicking a ball.

In a way it was a relief for Prime who were missing more than 10 players for the clash, but the club would much rather have played the match and earned the points fair and square.

In Prime's previous league encounter with Roselands, The Numbers racked up an 11-0 win, partly due to their opponents only fielding 10 players that day, and serious concerns must now be raised as to whether the league basement-boys will fulfil their remaining fixtures.
